Peaches are in season and you may be wondering "What am I going to do with that case of peaches?"
A great way to prolong the deliciousness of fresh peaches is to infuse spirits with them.
It is very simple, just peel and stone as many as you are ready to part with and cover with vodka, gin, rum or tequila.
Stir with a spoon, cover and let sit for a week or two. Strain into perfectly clean jars.
Now lets make a throwback cocktail with a fresh new spin.
Fuzzy Navel Martini
1 1/2 ounces of peach infused vodka
1 1/2 ounces of orange juice
Put into a shaker full of ice and shake like hell for 30 seconds.
Pour into a chilled martini glass and top with a Prosecco floater. It is like a Bellini only BETTER!
