Blow your taste buds and guests away with this delicious sausage dip recipe perfect for the upcoming SUPERBOWL! Once you try it, game day won't be the same without it!
**Serves 12-15 People!
Ingredients
-19 Oz. Hot & Spicy Sausage or Chorizo (We used Queen City Ghost Pepper Sausage AND a small tube of chorizo. If you do not want the dip to be spicy just use a regular sausage that is not hot!)
-8 Oz. Cream Cheese (Room Temp)
-8 Oz. Package Guacamole
-1 Tsp Cumin
-1 Tsp Chili Powder
-1 Can of Black Beans (16 Oz - Rinsed & Drained)
-1/2 Cup That Dam Jam (We used Pineapple Jalapeno!)
-1 1/4 Cup Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend (Divided Use)
-1 Cup Chopped Tomatoes (Divided Use)
-1/4 Cup Chopped Green Onions (Divided Use)
-1 Jalapeno Pepper (Seeded & Chopped)
Directions
Grill brats/sausage using your preferred method
Let your sausage cool slightly then cut into bite-sized pieces
Preheat oven to 400
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, guac, cumin and chili powder
Stir in black beans, That Dam Jam, 1 Cup Shredded Cheese, 1/2 of your tomatoes, and half of your green onions
Fold in your diced sausage
Spray a deep dish pie plate or rectangular baking dish and spoon in your mixture
Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees or until golden brown and bubbling
Remove from the oven and add your remaining cheese, tomato, green onion, and all of the chopped jalapeno!
Serve with tortilla chips or Frito scoops! Enjoy!
